Crafted with meticulous care from the best Glera grapes, this Prosecco is La Tordera’s first zero sugar offering, highlighting its commitment to innovation and quality. The vineyard, located at the highest point on the estate in Guia di Valdobbiadene at 300 meters above sea level, benefits from the steep terrain and high temperature range, which impart distinct balance and freshness to the grapes.
The vineyard receives special attention from Pietro Vettoretti, father of Renato and Paolo, who manage La Tordera. Pietro's dedication to preserving the continuity of the vines through careful selection of buds from the best vines ensures that each bottle of Otreval maintains its exceptional quality.
After harvesting, the grapes undergo a second fermentation for six weeks in an autoclave, followed by a maturation period of at least three months. The result is a dry, complex Prosecco with rich aromas, a fine, constant, and persistent perlage, and a degree of 12%.
