Discover Terra Bendita Wines: A Gem from Chile

At Wine Affairs, located in the heart of the Upper West Side of Manhattan, we are proud to introduce  Terra Bendita Wines , a remarkable producer from Chile that exemplifies quality, sustainability, and passion in winemaking. Founded in 2002, Bodegas y Viñedos de Aguirre, the parent company of Terra Bendita, has quickly risen to prominence, achieving impressive growth year after year while maintaining a commitment to excellence.

Terra Bendita is situated across five key wine-growing regions in Chile, each known for its unique terroir, which contributes to the distinctive characteristics of its wines. Here’s a brief overview of these regions:

-  Casablanca Valley : Renowned for its cool climate, this region is perfect for producing elegant white wines with mineral notes due to its sandy-clay soils and coastal influence.

-  Maipo Valley : Famous for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignons, this valley offers diverse soil types and climates, enhancing the complexity and quality of the wines.

-  Colchagua Valley : This area is a treasure trove for red varietals, often showcasing rich chocolate notes, making it a favorite for bold red wine lovers.

-  Maule Valley : The largest wine region, known for its cooler climate, produces fruit-forward wines that reflect the purity of the grape, without heavy oak influences.

Sustainability is at the core of Terra Bendita's philosophy. The winery employs eco-friendly practices, such as using recycled materials in packaging and ensuring environmentally responsible production methods. They are one of only four Chilean wineries to achieve BRC and IFS certifications, demonstrating their commitment to quality and safety in winemaking.
