Experience the Richness of 18 Malbec by Terra Bendita, Viña de Aguirre

At Wine Affairs, your premier  wine distributor  located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, we are thrilled to present  18 Malbec  from  Viña de Aguirre, Terra Bendita . This exquisite wine captures the essence of the Central Valley of Chile, specifically from our vineyards in Villa Alegre, situated 285 km south of Santiago.

  Vineyards and Terroir

The Maule Valley boasts a Mediterranean-like climate, characterized by winter rains and dry summers. This unique climate results in a significant temperature range between day and night, which allows the Malbec grapes to develop ripe tannins and excellent aromas. The soils, a combination of sand and volcanic ash, combined with the flat terrain, ensures superb sunlight exposure, fostering the growth of high-quality grapes.

  Vinification Process

The grapes for 18 Malbec are harvested in mid-March to ensure they reach optimal ripeness. The vinification process involves fermenting the must in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at temperatures ranging from 22°C to 26°C for ten to fifteen days. This careful fermentation process preserves the wine's vibrant fruit characteristics. Before bottling, the wine undergoes stabilization and filtration, ensuring its quality and freshness.

  Tasting Notes and Serving Suggestions

With an alcohol content of 13.0%, this Malbec displays a rich, concentrated ruby-red color with terracotta rims. Aromas of black plums, cherries, and violet notes greet the senses, while the palate reveals a well-balanced and elegant profile with soft, mature tannins. It pairs beautifully with red meats, herb-infused dishes, or grilled vegetables, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.
